Alignment First
Every request is reviewed for fit before payment. If the question falls outside our expertise or capacity, we'll either:
- Decline with a clear explanation, or
- Refer you to someone in our trusted network, at no cost and with no obligation for any party involved
You won't waste time, and
we won't take work we shouldn't.
Optional Add-on: Live Sessions
Live brainstorming sessions are not the default and are offered by recommendation only — after asynchronous review indicates they will add value. These sessions are not used for open-ended problem discovery.
For these:
- Requires completed (paid) asynchronous review first (you can book an add-on session after a Focused or Deep Review is completed)
- These sessions are based solely on the completed asynchronous review and do not include additional document analysis or pre-session discovery.
Strategic Review (30 mins), Cost: $150
Focused clarification and priority alignment following your completed review.
Executive Deep Dive (60 mins), Cost: $450
High-intensity decision compression session designed for founders or leadership teams navigating high-stakes moves.
Need to book an Asynchronous Brainstorming engagement?
Fill out the form, below:
Request Asynchronous Brainstorming
Use this form to request an asynchronous brainstorming engagement. We review every request for alignment before accepting work. If it’s a fit, you’ll receive next steps and an invoice. If it’s not, we’ll let you know or refer you elsewhere when appropriate.
No prep calls. No meetings by default. Just deliberate thinking.
What is asynchronous brainstorming?
Asynchronous brainstorming is structured, written thinking support delivered without live meetings. You provide context in writing, and Thought Knockout reviews it deliberately — examining assumptions, pressure-testing logic, and surfacing risks and tradeoffs — before responding with a clear, written analysis.
This approach prioritizes clarity over speed and avoids the bias and momentum that often shape live conversations.
Is this the same as coaching or consulting?
No. This is not coaching, and it’s not a workshop.
Asynchronous brainstorming focuses on framing, structure, and decision clarity — not motivation, facilitation, or implementation management. You remain fully responsible for decisions and execution.
Why don’t you start with a live call?
Live calls tend to reward speed, confidence, and improvisation — not careful thinking.
Thought Knockout is an asynchronous-first company by design. Written context allows us to slow the thinking down, pull the structure away from social pressure to examine it, and deliver clearer, more defensible insight.
Live sessions are offered only when asynchronous review shows they will add value.
What happens after I submit the form?
Every request is reviewed for alignment with our expertise.
If it’s a fit, you’ll receive next steps and an invoice.
If it’s not, we’ll decline with context or refer you to someone in our trusted network — at no cost and with no obligation from any involved parties.
No work begins until payment is received.
Can I submit documents, decks, or long background materials?
Asynchronous brainstorming is intentionally word-limited.
You may reference minimal external material when strictly necessary, but extensive document review, decks, or large attachments are not included. This keeps the work focused and ensures clarity rather than surface-level scanning.
If deeper review or document analysis is required, we’ll let you know in advance and provide a revised scope and quote before proceeding.
Do you guarantee outcomes or decisions?
No. Thought Knockout provides analytical and advisory insight only.
We do not guarantee outcomes, performance improvements, or results. Our role is to improve clarity and framing — not to make decisions on your behalf.
